AI Leaf Office 0.3 — release trial terms

AI Leaf Global grants a free, device-bound editing licence for six calendar months from the device's first successful activation. An internet connection is required for activation and to renew a signed offline licence check at least every 30 days. Reinstalling on the same Windows device does not restart the server-recorded trial. Hardware changes or a Windows reinstall may require support. Clock changes can require online revalidation.

The app sends a SHA-256 device identifier to software.aileafglobal.com. The Windows MachineGuid itself, document contents, names, and local file paths are not sent. The service stores the identifier and licence dates. Hosting infrastructure may keep standard request/IP logs. Documents and recovery drafts remain on your computer.

At expiry, editing is disabled. Existing files may still be opened and exported. Files are not deleted. There are no automatic charges. Paid renewals currently require contacting AI Leaf Global and operator approval; automated payment checkout is not included in this release. Prices and commercial subscription terms must be agreed before purchase.

Uninstall through Windows Settings > Apps > Installed apps > AI Leaf Office > Uninstall. Saved document files and application recovery/licence data are retained. Keep separate backups of your work. Reinstall does not grant another six-month trial.

This is a preview release supplied without a promise of exact Microsoft Word compatibility. Imported DOCX files are converted and may lose advanced features or layout. Keep originals and inspect exported copies. Microsoft Word is a Microsoft trademark; AI Leaf Office is an independent product.

The Windows installer is unsigned. Cryptographic licence signatures verify activation entitlements; they do not constitute a Windows publisher certificate. Third-party components remain subject to their included notices and licences.

The prior 0.1 preview had no trial enforcement. This licence system applies to version 0.2 and later; it cannot restrict existing 0.1 copies.

The same device-bound Office licence covers Documents, Sheets and PDF tools. Upgrading does not restart the trial. Sheets converts XLSX files into editable copies; macros, charts, pivots, merged layout and advanced Excel features are not preserved. Keep the original workbook.
